The "Check ink" message refers to the fact that that the value on the smart chip is much higher than the actual remaining ink in the cartridge or ink-bag.
There are 2 possible reasons:
- The ink end tab of the cartridge/adapter is coming out while the amount on the smart chips is still quite high.
- A physical problem with the ink end sensor in the printer.
