TIB 845: Discontinued waste bottle sensor of RJ-900 (X, XG, U)

Due to a discontinuation in production the waste bottle sensor used in the RJ-900X printer family is no longer available.

A new sensor has been sourced and will be introduced in production as of below mentioned serial number.

For older serial numbers a "waste ink box sensor replacement kit" has been defined to be able to mount the new part(s) in older printers.

Since this new sensor has a different connector, a new revision of the waste liquid sensor cable has also been introduced.

The old part numbers will remain available until depletion stock.

The spare parts list will be updated accordingly.

The new sensor + cable has been installed in the factory as of following serial number:   RJ-900X-U1 ==>  HB4W000423

All previous models are only equipped with the older version:

• RJ-900X with serial number HB4Exxxxxx
• RJ-900XG with serial number HB4Oxxxxxx

3/ Part numbers:

Units from before the revision that need to be upgraded to the new sensor require, next to the sensor and cable, also a new mounting bracket in order to be able to mount the sensor into the printer.
