TIB 877: Revised "Power Off"- and "Sleep mode"- entering sequence

Background of the change: 

If the printer remains switched off for an extended period while there is still ink in the sytem, the print head may become clogged, leading to possible malfunctions.

To encourage users to place the printer in sleep mode instead of turning it off completely, the procedures for entering sleep mode and shutting down the printer have been revised.

Similarly, when the printer remains powered on but unused for a long time, the same risk may occur. Therefore, the printer will now automatically switch to sleep mode after four hours of inactivity (this duration can be adjusted in the settings).

If the printer cover is left open or the waste ink container is full, the printer will be unable to enter sleep mode. In such cases, a warning beep will sound until the issue is resolved.

Entering Sleep Mode

Press the "power button" on the control panel to activate sleep mode.

Powering Off the Printer

Select "Power Off" from the control panel menu.

Other related Changes: 

The default values for "Auto Cleaning (Auto CL) during Standby" and "Cleaning (CL) modes during sleep mode" have been modified.
