TIB 867: VJ-1638UH(2)/UR(2): Revision of the UV LED lamp and LED Control board

Dear Customer,

The UV LED lamp which is used in the VJ-1638UH(2) and VJ-1638UR(2), DG-48687, will become obsolete in the near future.

Mutoh Japan has released a new revision of the lamp in order to be able to continue to support the units in the field.

Important: The new lamps are NOT compatible with the existing LED_CONT boards, DG-44310, so also for this board a new version has been released to be used in combination with the new lamp.

Furthermore these new boards CANNOT be used with the old version lamps, so it is important to use the correct combination !

The new partnumbers are:

UV LED Lamp: DH-42279
LED_CONT board: DH-42280

VJ-1638UH: End of production
VJ-1638UR2: End of production
VJ-1638UR: End of production

Overview combinations:

Replacement kit: When a machine with an old version lamp or board needs a replacement to a new version for the first time, both lamps and boards will need to be replaced. For this purpose a kit has been defined: DH-42281 (UV-LED _3Inch replacement kit).
