TIB 872: Important Notice – Mutoh US61 Varnish Ink Lot 956077

Dear Customer,

We would like to inform you of a potential issue with a specific batch of Mutoh US61 Varnish ink.

1. Information

• The factory has reported to us that Mutoh US61 Varnish lot number 956077 may cause ink flow issues due to increased viscosity.
   Use of this lot of varnish may lead to nozzle clogging and potential print head damage.

2. How to Proceed?

If you have this lot in use or in stock, please take the following actions:

• Do not use varnish from lot 956077.
• If already in use:
  • Perform a discharge.
  • Clean the tubing thoroughly.
  • Load a new batch of varnish.
  • Replace the varnish dampers after discharging the affected ink.
• If nozzle clogging persists after these steps, replace the print head.

3. Additional Actions

• Check your remaining stock for this lot number.
• Inform your customers who may have received this lot number.
• Submit claims for affected ink via the standard RAS procedure through RAS@mutoh.eu
